Job Description
Insight Global is seeking qualified Aviation Technicians to support an aerospace program performing aircraft electrical installation, modification, testing, troubleshooting, and system integration. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing wiring harnesses, terminating connectors, routing cables, reading electrical schematics, performing testing and fault isolation, supporting inspections, and working alongside Quality, Engineering, and Program teams in a controlled aircraft production environment. Senior-level candidates may also lead installations, mentor technicians, and support customer and QA interactions. This role is in San Antonio, TX and will be forking four 10-hour shifts either from Sun-Wed or from Wed-Sat. The pay scale for this role is $35-$45/hr and is dependent on experience.

Required Skills & Experience
- Active Secret Clearance
- 5+ years aircraft electrical, avionics, or aerospace electrical experience
- Aircraft wiring harness installation experience
- Connectorization, pinning/de-pinning, and cable routing experience
- Electrical troubleshooting and fault isolation experience
- Ability to read aircraft schematics and wiring diagrams
- Electrical testing experience (continuity, resistance, functional testing)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- 8+ years aerospace electrical experience
- Military aviation background (Navy AE/AT, Air Force Avionics, etc.)
- Technical school, trade school, or avionics certifications
