Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Testing (SDET) to support an enterprise-wide modernization initiative within the Analytics & Behavioral Change organization at a large healthcare company. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where engineers will work from an established roadmap and independently deliver on assigned testing efforts.
In this role, the SDET will primarily test queries and scripts written in SQL, Python, and Java within an Azure Databricks environment, supporting a microservices-based architecture.
The team operates in an agile model, organized into cross-functional squads that include data engineers, full-stack engineers, and captains responsible for gathering and translating requirements. Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of software development experience (SQL, Python)
- 1+ years of current experience in a SDET role with any testing automation tool (Selenium, etc)
- Experience leveraging any AI tool (Claude, CoPilot, etc) to improve testing scripts, use cases, and delivery
Cloud environment experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Demonstrates high level of ownership, curiosity, and motivation
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with agile teams and product managers
- Ability to interview in person in a local Insight Global office

- Ability to go to Irving, TX at least 1+ days/week
