Insight Global is seeking a Salesforce Administrator/Developer to support a Fortune 500 chemical manufacturing client. This role sits within the client’s Digital Commerce Solutions IT team and plays a key role in supporting and enhancing their Salesforce platform.
In this hybrid Admin/Developer role, you’ll work closely with business stakeholders and the Salesforce IT team to deliver scalable, reliable solutions that support commercial operations. The ideal candidate has a strong Salesforce administration foundation along with hands-on development experience using Apex and Lightning.
This role combines day-to-day Salesforce administration with designing and implementing enhancements, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys balancing operational support with continuous improvement in a growing Salesforce environment.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 3–5 years of Salesforce experience, with at least 3 years in an Admin/Developer role
- Hands-on experience with:
○ Apex classes and triggers
○ Visualforce
○ Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura
○ Salesforce development tools
○ Flow automation and asynchronous callouts
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce data and security model, including:
○ Standard and custom objects
○ Fields, relationships, and sharing/security concepts
- Experience integrating Salesforce with other systems using REST and SOAP APIs
- Experience implementing and configuring managed packages
- Experience supporting Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, including:
○ Email-to-Case
○ Entitlement and escalation rules
○ Knowledge base
○ Omni-channel routing and automations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to:
○ Partner with global teams
○ Translate technical requirements into business-friendly language
○ Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Middleware experience integrating Salesforce with SAP S/4 using SAP PI/XI (inbound and outbound interfaces)
- Strong understanding of API architectures:
○ REST
○ SOAP
○ Bulk
○ Streaming APIs
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployments using DevOps tools such as:
○ Copado
○ Azure DevOps
- Certifications
○ Salesforce Certified Administrator
○ Salesforce Platform Developer I and/or II
- Additional Value-Add Experience
○ Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems such as:
○ Websites
○ SharePoint
○ Smartsheet
○ Microsoft Copilot
○ Experience using REST/SOAP APIs, OData, or Salesforce Connect
Master’s degree is a plus
