Job Description
An Insight Global client in the Houston area is seeking a senior SAP Procurement (MM) Consultant to serve as the Lead Functional Owner for the SAP Procurement module on a large‑scale public‑sector SAP S/4HANA implementation supporting a transportation organization. This role will own the end‑to‑end design, configuration oversight, and delivery of procurement solutions across both operational procurement and strategic sourcing. The ideal candidate has completed at least one full end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA implementation, brings prior public‑sector experience, and has hands‑on configuration experience in mature SAP environments (not greenfield builds). This role is 100% onsite in downtown Houston and requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and cross‑module collaboration. The pay rate range for this position will be anywhere from $95 - $110/hr depending on years of experience.

Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of SAP Procurement / MM functional experience
At least one full end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA implementation (ECC → S/4 or greenfield)
Hands‑on configuration experience in SAP Procurement (not from scratch-only environments)
Prior public‑sector experience (government, transit, transportation authorities, utilities, etc.)
Experience supporting transportation or asset‑intensive organizations
Strong background in both operational procurement and strategic sourcing
Proven ability to operate as a module lead on large, enterprise SAP programs
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills
