Job Description

A leading midstream energy company is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to support the design and execution of electrical, instrumentation, and control system projects across terminal and pipeline facilities. This role will be responsible for developing engineering design packages, reviewing technical drawings, supporting equipment selection, and partnering with project management and operations teams to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial or process facility environments and enjoy working on multidisciplinary projects from concept through construction and commissioning.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years of electrical and instrumentation design experience
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Experience creating and reviewing Single-Line Diagrams, Wiring Schematics, Loop Drawings, and Control Panel Designs
• Experience supporting industrial, oil & gas, pipeline, midstream, petrochemical, or manufacturing facilities
• Knowledge of MCCs, switchgear, instrumentation, motor controls, and power distribution systems

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Midstream, terminal, storage, pipeline, or natural gas facilities
• ETAP experience
• SCADA and PLC systems
• Instrumentation and controls design
• Hazardous area design
• Project engineering support
