Job Description
We are seeking a Civil Engineer to support the design, review, and execution of natural gas pipeline and facility projects. This role will be responsible for reviewing engineering drawings and civil designs associated with pipeline foundations, pipeline crossings, station facilities, and related infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting natural gas, pipeline, midstream, or energy projects and possess a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and industry standards. Key responsibilities include:
Review and provide engineering feedback on civil design packages, including foundation drawings, grading plans, roadway crossings, pipeline crossings, and site development plans.
Support engineering and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle from design through construction.
Evaluate foundation designs and structural support systems for pipelines, equipment, and facility infrastructure.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, engineering consultants, surveyors, and construction teams to resolve design issues.
Assist with permitting and right-of-way considerations related to pipeline and facility projects.
Conduct technical reviews of engineering calculations, drawings, and construction packages.
Support field activities, design troubleshooting, and construction-related engineering questions.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with schedule and budget objectives.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
3+ years of civil engineering experience supporting pipeline, utility, natural gas, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects.
Experience reviewing engineering drawings, construction plans, and civil design documents.
Knowledge of foundation design, drainage, grading, and site development principles.
Strong understanding of construction methods and engineering standards.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar engineering software.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain.
Experience with natural gas transmission or midstream facilities.
Familiarity with pipeline crossings, HDD projects, roadway crossings, and utility coordination.
Experience working with engineering consulting firms or owner-operator environments.
Knowledge of applicable DOT, PHMSA, ASTM, and industry standards.
