Job Description
A client in the Spring, TX area is seeking a highly experienced Benefits Consultant to support a critical open enrollment period and someone to manage core benefit operations. This role focuses heavily on 401K administration, retirement management, and self-funded health plans, with immediate impact on employee experience and compliance. This person will be responsible for administering and auditing 401K plans (Fidelity preferred), and ensuring accurate payroll deductions and compliance with a 7% dollar-for-dollar match. They will be responsible for managing retiree pension plans and supporting transitions for employees returning from leave. In addition, they will be handling high-volume employee inquiries via email and phone with a customer-service mindset. They will be using Oracle Fusion to manage benefit selections for new hires and ensure seamless integration with Blue Cross Blue Shield. This person will be making $50-60 on an hourly basis.

Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of direct, hands-on experience in benefits administration
Deep expertise in 401K management and retirement benefits
Proven experience with self-funded health plans
Familiarity with Oracle Fusion or similar HRIS platforms
Strong communication and organizational skills in high-volume environments
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Fidelity 401K platforms
Prior work with Blue Cross Blue Shield integrations
Knowledge of HRIS workflows for employee leave and return processes
