Job Description

We are looking for an Assembly Technician to help support one of our clients. This position requires hands-on expertise in interpreting technical drawings, operating assembly tools, and performing mechanical adjustments to achieve precise fit and function. The technician will collaborate closely with engineering and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues, contributing to continuous process improvements. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are paramount to maintain a productive and hazard-free work environment. Ultimately, this role supports the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer specifications and company standards.

• Assemble floor components and mechanical parts according to detailed blueprints and work instructions.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks.
• Inspect assembled components for defects or deviations and perform necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Collaborate with engineers and quality control personnel to identify and resolve assembly challenges.
• Document assembly processes and report any issues or improvements to supervisors.
• Participate in continuous training to stay current with new assembly techniques and safety standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of assembly experience
• Experience with medium-heavy equipment assembly
• High school diploma
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions
• Ability to be able to read blueprints

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with quality control processes and standards such as ISO
• Ability to use computerized tracking or inventory systems
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and components
