Insight Global is hiring a Senior Cloud Engineer with deep multi‑cloud experience (Azure, AWS, GCP and OCI) to help shape and govern their client's cloud landscape.
This is a senior advisory role, focused on cloud cost optimization, technical design review, and security standards implementation across enterprise environments.
The role sits at the intersection of engineering, architecture, security, and finance, influencing how cloud platforms are designed, secured, and paid for. Key responsibilities include:
-Review and validate cloud architectures and technical designs across Azure, AWS, and GCP (OCI as applicable).
-Analyze cloud usage and spend; advise teams on cost‑efficient design choices
-Drive cloud cost reduction initiatives using FinOps principles
-Guide teams on implementing enterprise cloud security standards
-Review and provide recommendations on IAM, networking, encryption, logging, and monitoring
-Define, promote, and enforce reference architectures, design patterns, and guardrails
-Act as a senior technical advisor and escalation point for complex cloud topics
-Partner across engineering, architecture, security, and finance to shape the overall cloud strategy
-Mentor engineers and help raise overall cloud engineering and design maturity

Required Skills & Experience
-Strong hands‑on experience across Azure, AWS, and GCP
-AWS and Azure cloud certifications (Azure Solution Architect and AWS Solution Architect preferred).
-Proven experience operating in enterprise‑scale cloud environments
-Demonstrated success driving cloud cost optimization / FinOps initiatives
-Experience reviewing, validating, and governing cloud architectures and technical designs
-Solid understanding of cloud security architecture, including: IAM, Networking, Encryption, Logging & monitoring
-Infrastructure as Code experience (e.g., Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)
-Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
-Ability to balance cost, security, reliability, and scalability
-Strong communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
-Senior‑level mindset with the ability to influence through expertise, not authority
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) experience
-FinOps certification or deep, practical FinOps expertise
-Experience with multi‑cloud migration or consolidation efforts
-Background in regulated, highly available, or security‑sensitive environments
-Experience defining reference architectures, design patterns, and guardrails
-Prior experience mentoring or elevating cloud engineering maturity across teams
