Job Description

Salary: 80k

Our client in the ITS/ Tolling industry is looking for a Project Engineer to join their team in Dallas, TX. This person will manage and support the field operations on projects. The appointed person will report to the Project Manager, but primary responsibility will be to assist in all the project areas including to ensure that the foreman and crew have the materials, equipment, and information necessary to complete the job. This will be around 75% in the field and 25% in office. As an extension of the Project Manager, the PE is ultimately responsible for understanding and accomplishing the customer's goals while protecting and promoting the interests of the company in all matters.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-5+ years of experience in construction as an engineer
• Industry experience: experience working with TX Department of Transportation (TXDOT)
• Strong Excel experience
• Experience in the electrical/underground scope: trenching, boring, etc.)
• Comfortable working in the field/ experience working in the field

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Spanish (STRONGLY PREFFERED)
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
