Principal AI Architect – Knowledge Graph & Semantic AI

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal AI Architect – Knowledge Graph & Semantic AI to drive the design and development of enterprise knowledge graph and semantic AI capabilities. This individual will lead efforts to build scalable semantic infrastructure on Databricks, enabling advanced AI applications and Graph RAG solutions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the development and implementation of an enterprise knowledge graph platform.
• Design and build semantic layers that support AI and GenAI initiatives.
• Develop and maintain ontology frameworks to model business domains and relationships.
• Architect and implement Graph Retrieval-Augmented Generation (Graph RAG) solutions.
• Build scalable semantic infrastructure leveraging Databricks and modern data platforms.
• Collaborate with data, AI, and engineering teams to integrate knowledge graph capabilities into enterprise applications.
• Establish best practices, governance, and technical standards for semantic technologies and knowledge management.

• Strong experience designing and implementing knowledge graphs in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on expertise with Databricks.
• Experience building semantic layers for AI, analytics, or enterprise search applications.
• Deep understanding of ontology development, taxonomy design, and semantic modeling.
• Experience with Graph RAG architectures and AI-powered retrieval frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and provide architectural guidance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with business and technology stakeholders.

• Experience supporting Generative AI, LLM, or enterprise AI solutions.
• Familiarity with graph databases and semantic web technologies.
• Previous experience establishing enterprise data and AI architecture standards.
