Job Description
We are seeking a Change Management Project Manager to lead all Organizational Change Management (OCM) efforts for a large-scale Epic Refuel / Back to Foundation initiative. This role will serve as the central owner of change strategy, stakeholder alignment, and communication management across the enterprise as the organization transitions to Epic Foundation standards.
This individual will partner closely with the Refuel Program Manager, PMO, application teams, and executive leadership to ensure successful adoption of standardized Epic workflows and long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Own and execute the enterprise OCM strategy for the Epic Refuel across pre-, intra-, and post-go-live phases
Develop and manage a comprehensive communication plan, including executive messaging, end-user updates, and change readiness materials
Serve as the central lead for communication management, ensuring consistent, clear, and targeted messaging across clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders
Drive stakeholder engagement strategy, partnering with clinical leadership, operations, and department heads to ensure alignment and accountability
Establish and manage change governance frameworks, including intake, prioritization, and escalation processes tied to Refuel initiatives
Partner with application teams (Inpatient, Ambulatory, Revenue Cycle, Security, etc.) to prepare end users for workflow changes aligned to Epic Foundation
Lead impact assessments to evaluate how changes to workflows, content (order sets, SmartForms, flowsheets), and system design affect end users
Develop and track adoption metrics and change readiness indicators, ensuring departments are prepared for each phase of the program
Facilitate feedback loops and change reinforcement strategies to monitor adoption and mitigate resistance
Partner with the PMO to align OCM deliverables with program timelines, milestones, and dependencies
Support executive steering committees with clear, concise updates on change readiness, risks, and adoption progress

Required Skills & Experience
6+ years of Change Management / OCM experience within healthcare IT or enterprise IT programs
Proven experience supporting large-scale Epic initiatives (implementation, optimization, or Refuel)
Strong background in communication planning and execution across large, complex organizations
Experience driving end-user adoption for clinical and revenue cycle workflows
Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder alignment across clinical, operational, and IT teams
Experience working within a structured PMO and governance-driven environment
Familiarity with Epic environments and concepts such as:
Foundation build and workflow standardization
Clinical content (order sets, SmartForms, flowsheets)
Revenue cycle workflows (Resolute HB/PB)
