Job Description

Contribute to the organization’s mission by supporting innovative infrastructure and transportation solutions.
Build, calibrate, and validate microscopic and mesoscopic traffic simulation models.
Prepare traffic safety study reports, intersection and interchange operational analyses.
Perform transportation and traffic engineering planning and design, including managing tasks, projects, and quality control.
Review and present reports and findings with vendors, engineers, and architects, and drive multidisciplinary coordination.
Effectively and proactively communicate project needs, changes, and status to internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct meetings and coordinate with permitting agencies to obtain jurisdictional approvals related to civil engineering scope.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Transportation or Traffic Engineering.
2+ years of hands-on experience in traffic engineering, transportation planning, traffic modeling and simulation, and traffic operations analysis.
Experience in master planning, including roadway design, intersections, traffic signal control infrastructure, and data collection/analysis.
Proficiency in VISSIM, Synchro, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and a strong understanding of MUTCD and the Highway Capacity Manual.
