Job Description

Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to support a large-scale telecommunications transformation initiative focused on consolidating multiple telephony providers into a centralized Nextiva environment. This individual will play a critical role in researching existing carrier relationships, gathering and documenting requirements, coordinating with external vendors, and helping drive the migration strategy. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a project-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate complex vendor relationships and multiple workstreams simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
• Partner with project stakeholders to identify, document, and analyze current telephony carriers, contracts, services, and business requirements across the organization.
• Conduct research and discovery activities to inventory existing telecommunications environments and identify migration dependencies.
• Serve as a primary point of contact with external telecommunications vendors and carriers, coordinating discussions regarding current services, migration planning, and service termination activities.
• Gather, organize, and maintain project documentation, status updates, action items, risks, and timelines.
• Collaborate closely with project and program leadership to support planning, execution, and successful completion of the telephony migration initiative.
• Track project progress, dependencies, and deliverables utilizing Smartsheet and Microsoft Office tools.
• Facilitate meetings with internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring timely follow-up and issue resolution.
• Analyze findings and provide recommendations that support business objectives and migration readiness.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise projects or technology initiatives.
• Strong research, analysis, documentation, and requirements gathering skills.
• Experience working directly with external vendors, service providers, and business stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with executive-level and customer-facing contacts.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Experience tracking deliverables, timelines, and project activities within Smartsheet or similar project management tools.
• Demonstrated project or program management mindset with the ability to identify dependencies, risks, and action items.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Previous experience supporting telecommunications, telephony, VoIP, UCaaS, or carrier migration initiatives.
• Experience working with Nextiva or similar cloud telephony platforms.
• Familiarity with telecom carrier management, contract coordination, and service migrations.
