Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Senior Kubernetes Administrator with strong expertise in Azure Cloud and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) with private endpoints. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security across our cloud environments. This role requires deep knowledge of Kubernetes internals, Azure cloud services, and modern DevOps practices.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of hands-on Kubernetes administration in production environments.
- 3+ years of experience with Azure cloud services, especially Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) with private endpoints.
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration.
- Proficiency in Helm.
- Experience with networking, load balancers, DNS, ingress controllers, and service meshes (Linkerd).
- Expertise with IaC tools (Terraform or Bicep).
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
- Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Datadog).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Certifications such as CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), CKS (Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist), or Azure Solutions Architect.
- Experience with GitOps frameworks (ArgoCD).
- Background in security hardening and compliance (HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.).
