Job Description

The Director of Sales will serve as a trusted advisor to organizations undertaking large-scale construction and infrastructure initiatives. This individual will leverage industry expertise, business development experience, and relationship-building skills to identify new opportunities, expand existing partnerships, and position the organization as a preferred workforce solutions provider.

In addition to direct client engagement, the Director of Sales will lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include developing sales strategies, managing pipeline performance, forecasting revenue, and driving consistent execution of business development efforts across multiple markets.

As a member of the leadership team, this individual will contribute to company growth initiatives, market expansion strategies, and the development of long-term client partnerships.

Division Leadership
• Develop and execute a national sales strategy focused on revenue growth and market expansion.
• Establish sales objectives, performance metrics, and growth initiatives aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with leadership on forecasting, strategic planning, and business development initiatives.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales organization.
• Drive continuous improvement across sales processes, reporting, and pipeline management.
Business Development & Client Relations
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across construction, infrastructure, industrial, and technology sectors.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities related to workforce solutions, staffing, and project support services.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for strategic accounts.
• Lead contract negotiations, service agreements, and partnership discussions.
• Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Workforce Solutions & Client Success
• Partner with recruiting, operations, and project teams to support successful project execution.
• Align workforce solutions with client requirements and project objectives.
• Assist clients with workforce planning and staffing strategies.
• Facilitate communication between internal teams and clients to ensure a high level of service.
Market Strategy & Growth
• Monitor industry trends, market activity, and emerging opportunities.
• Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify areas for growth.
• Develop strategic partnerships that support long-term business objectives.
• Provide leadership with recommendations regarding market positioning and competitive strategy.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a sales leadership role (Director, Senior Manager, or equivalent).
• Experience selling workforce solutions, staffing services, project-based services, or construction-related solutions.
• Strong understanding of construction, infrastructure, industrial services, or skilled labor markets.
• Demonstrated success driving revenue growth and managing strategic accounts.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Strong organizational and strategic planning abilities.
• Consistent track record of achieving or exceeding performance objectives.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Established network within construction, infrastructure, industrial, technology, or related industries.
• Experience supporting large-scale or multi-site projects.
• Background leading national or regional sales initiatives.
