Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Service Technician to support the maintenance, repair, refurbishment, and installation of sophisticated mechanical and electromechanical equipment in an industrial service environment. This individual will work primarily within a service facility while occasionally providing onsite support at customer locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with precision tools and testing equipment.
Key Responsibilities

Follow all established safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Diagnose, inspect, repair, and rebuild complex mechanical and electromechanical systems and components.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, meters, and diagnostic equipment to perform maintenance and testing activities.
Document work performed, including service reports, timesheets, compliance records, training requirements, and other operational documentation.
Interpret fault indicators, alarms, and system data to identify equipment issues and determine corrective actions.
Disassemble, inspect, clean, and reassemble equipment according to established procedures.
Verify reported equipment concerns and perform root cause analysis as needed.
Operate cleaning, decontamination, and refurbishment equipment, including industrial washers, ultrasonic cleaning systems, pressure washing equipment, and related tools.
Assist with facility and equipment maintenance projects when required.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and workplace safety.

Required Skills & Experience

1+ year of experience servicing, maintaining, or repairing mechanical, industrial, or electronic equipment strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Ability to read and follow technical work instructions, repair procedures, and testing processes.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic computer systems.
