Job Description

One of Insight Global’s major clients is seeking a highly organized and proactive Program Support Specialist to support project reporting, drive operational excellence, and contribute to organizational growth through process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will support PMO functions, assist with program roadmap development, manage project reporting activities, and help create scalable processes that improve efficiency across the organization. Daily responsibilities include:

• Develop, manage, and maintain program roadmaps, project portfolios, and executive-level reporting.
• Support the planning, execution, and closure of cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Assist in establishing and maturing PMO practices, governance frameworks, and project management standards.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks, and support timely resolution of issues.
• Manage and track project activities, milestones, and deliverables using Jira, Microsoft Project, and other project management tools.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, operational efficiency, and organizational growth.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance scalability, consistency, and business performance.
• Evaluate existing workflows and recommend improvements to streamline operations and increase effectiveness.
• Partner with stakeholders to define future-state processes and maturity roadmaps.
• Develop, maintain, and improve technical documentation, process documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Create structured, easy-to-follow documentation that enables teams to execute processes consistently and effectively.
• Support knowledge management initiatives to improve information accessibility and organizational learning.
• Maintain and organize documentation repositories utilizing Confluence, SharePoint, and other knowledge management platforms.
• Review technical documents and operational procedures to identify gaps, issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication between business, technical, and operational teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
• Provide project updates, status reporting, and executive summaries to leadership.
• Build strong working relationships across the organization to support strategic initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of relevant industry experience; OR
• High school diploma/GED and six (6) years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience supporting project and program management activities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, PMO functions, governance processes, and reporting practices.
• Proficiency with Jira for project tracking, workflow management, and issue tracking.
• Proficiency with Confluence and SharePoint for documentation, collaboration, and knowledge management.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and other construction project management tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively across distributed teams.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent project/program management certification.
• Experience supporting construction, data center, facilities, infrastructure, or large-scale capital projects.
• Experience participating in process improvement and organizational maturity initiatives.
• Experience developing technical documentation, workflows, SOPs, and process maps.
• Knowledge management and documentation governance experience.
• Experience building executive-level reports, dashboards, and portfolio reporting.
