Job Description

Overview:
Insight Global's Managed Services Division, Evergreen, is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled OSP Designer (OSP Fiber Design) to join our telecom engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience using ESRI GIS software to design and QC fiber optic networks. This role requires a strong understanding of GIS principles, fiber optic technology, and telecommunication infrastructure. This position is an opportunity to learn and grow in a remote environment with our specialized consulting team based in Atlanta, GA.

Required Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience using ESRI GIS software (fiber network design experience highly preferred)
Strong understanding of GIS principles and spatial data management.
Knowledge of fiber optic technology and telecommunication infrastructure.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred Skills:
Experience with other GIS software and tools.
Experience with GIS QC
Experience with GFiber OSP Design
Experience with telecommunications industry.
Familiarity with AutoCAD or other CAD software.
Knowledge of database management and SQL.
