Job Description
An employer is seeking a Jira Platform Specialist to join their team in Austin, Tx. He or she will be joining a growing technology company where the Jira Platform Administrator will come in and immediately address platform mismanagement, reset permissions, and clean up existing configurations before building the Jira environment to scale. This is not a hands-on Jira ticket-work role — it is a platform architecture and governance role for someone who has done this before and can hit the ground running. As this company has grown, the infrastructure has not and the ideal candidate has shown the ability to set up a platform to scale. This is a 2–3-month long contract and fully remote.

Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience cleaning up and restructuring a mismanaged Jira environment
Strong expertise in Jira administration including permissions, schemes, workflows, and project configuration
Experience scaling Jira for growing organizations (not just day-to-day ticket management)
Redesign permissions, roles, and group structures
