o Responsible for leading the full design & engineering of facilities from concept to production launch
o Gather and develop a deep understanding of stakeholder requirements
o Develop Engineering project plans and secure leadership alignment
o Defines & effectively communicates factory design scope & prioritization for factory engineering team
o Drives formation of internal and external engineering team and manages 3rd party consultant contracts and budget
o Scope & implement innovative engineering and design strategies to support aggressive program objectives
o Own execution of high-quality engineering deliverables needed for procurement, costing, permitting, and construction activities
o Owns factory development program schedule
o Leads factory engineering technical deep dives & options analysis
o Supports technical studies such as feasibility and value engineering exercises
o Own cross-functional design reviews (2D & 3D)
o Supports funding requests with broader project team
o Serve as main factory engineering point of contact for construction team during construction phase
o Own engineering project status reporting of progress, actions, & risks
o Own engineering management of change for your respective program
o Proactively identifies and drives continuous improvement of factory engineering development

o B.S. in architecture, civil, mechanical, process/chemical, structural, or electrical engineering highly preferred
o Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams within Architectural/Engineering firms or design-build firms
o Full understanding of all engineering disciplines and ability to demonstrate skills to manage engineering resources.
o Proven record in delivery of IFB, IFP and IFC packages
o Experience designing manufacturing facilities, healthcare, laboratory, mission critical, and site infrastructure development project types
o Excellent communication skills with ability to understand complex topics/ problems and distill the message clearly
o Pre-Construction Project Management experience is a plus
