Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Inspector to operate in the Owner's Representative capacity for construction of an industrial manufacturing facility in Smyrna, TN. This is a 100% hands off, visual inspection role.
The Mechanical Inspector will do daily site walks as well as daily reports, communicate with owners, subcontractors, and GC on a daily/weekly basis all pertaining to the mechanical scope of the project. Experience with commercial industrial HVAC, pressure testing, process piping, duct testing, etc. This is a standard 40 hour week, 7 or 8am to 4 or 5pm, 5 days a week. There is the opportunity for overtime depending on schedule.

Required Skills & Experience
- 2-5+ years of experience with Mechanical QA/QC/Inspections in industrial or commercial environments
- Experience with HVAC controls, install, process piping, mechanical testing, duct testing, pressure testing
- Must be able to pass a background check, MVR, and drug test
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- ICC or IBC certified
