Job Description

The Superintendent will oversee daily field operations, manage crews and subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of residential maintenance and construction practices, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
-Supervise and coordinate daily activities of field crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
-Oversee residential maintenance, renovation, and repair projects from start to completion.
-Ensure all work is performed according to project specifications, company standards, and safety regulations.
-Develop and maintain project schedules to meet client deadlines.
-Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance.
-Communicate project updates, risks, and progress to management and clients.
-Coordinate material deliveries, equipment needs, and workforce planning.
-Review work orders, blueprints, drawings, and project documents.
-Identify and resolve field issues quickly to minimize project delays.
-Maintain project documentation, including daily reports, safety logs, and completion reports.
-Train, mentor, and develop field personnel to improve performance and productivity.
-Participate in project meetings with clients, contractors, and company leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

-5+ years of experience in single-family residential maintenance and construction.
-3+ years of supervisory or superintendent experience.
-Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance operations, and general construction practices.
-Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and technical documents.
-Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
-Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance systems.
-Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
