Job Description

The Senior Manager, Oracle Cloud Fusion Technical Services is responsible for leading the day-to-day technical delivery and engineering execution across Oracle Cloud Fusion platforms, including HCM, Payroll, ERP, EPM, and PPM. This role manages a team of engineers, ensuring high-quality delivery of integrations, applications, data loads, and reporting solutions using tools such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Visual Builder Studio (VBS), and OTBI/BIP. On a daily basis, the manager oversees development activities, reviews solution designs, and ensures adherence to established engineering standards, frameworks, and best practices. They act as the primary technical liaison to HRIS and Application Integration Services, translating functional requirements into scalable, well-engineered solutions. The role is highly hands-on, providing guidance on integrations, APIs, reporting, and data frameworks while also supporting troubleshooting of complex issues and platform incidents. The Senior Manager drives disciplined Agile delivery, leading sprint planning, backlog management, and team velocity tracking. They are also responsible for enforcing CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, and automated testing to ensure reliable and repeatable deployments. In addition, they coordinate quarterly Oracle release cycles, assess impacts, and lead remediation planning to minimize disruption. The role involves close collaboration with architects, business stakeholders, and vendors to align on timelines, priorities, and solution quality. Finally, this leader mentors and develops engineering talent while ensuring balanced workload distribution between project work and operational support.

This is a direct hire role, with a salary mid-point of $170,000, and fully remote.

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud technical experience across modules such as HCM, Payroll, ERP, EPM, or PPM
Strong expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including integration design, build, monitoring, and error handling (REST/SOAP APIs)
Proven experience with HCM Extracts, HDL/HSDL data loaders, and Oracle data frameworks
Hands-on experience with OTBI and BI Publisher (BIP) reporting and enterprise data visualization
Experience developing applications using Visual Builder Studio (VBS)
Strong proficiency with Git-based version control (branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews)
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
Demonstrated experience leading Agile delivery teams (sprint planning, backlog grooming, velocity tracking)
3+ years of people management experience, including team development and performance management

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or related certifications
Knowledge of Fast Formula development (Payroll, Benefits, Absence)
Prior experience working within a managed services model (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte, or similar partners)
Experience in healthcare or regulated environments, particularly supporting complex workforce or payroll systems
Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Security models (data roles, job roles, duty roles) and their interaction with technical solutions
Exposure to enterprise-scale integrations and multi-system architectures supporting large organizations
