Job Description

The Estimator is responsible for developing accurate, competitive cost estimates before work begins. This includes analyzing scope and drawings and calculating labor, material, equipment, and service costs used for bidding, planning, and protecting profitability.

They are not looking for someone who has only worked in one craft.

They want estimators with experience across multiple construction or specialty trades.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of estimating experience

Experience across 2 of these construction crafts:

Insulation / Mechanical or Thermal Insulation / Lagging

Must know MIKE software

Industrial Painting / Coatings / Protective Coatings

IMP (Insulated Metal Panels)

Firestopping

Fireproofing (SFRM, intumescent, spray fireproofing)

Engineering, technical, or construction degree (Associate or Bachelor’s) OR equivalent hands‑on experience

Experience with the MIKE program

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas/functions), Outlook, and Word

Fluent in English

Strong analytical and communication skills

Comfortable working fully remote
