Job Description

This role supports new construction and renovation projects by coordinating day‑to‑day construction activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and minimizing disruption to ongoing operations. The Construction Project Coordinator works closely with contractors, project managers, and internal stakeholders to help deliver projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate construction-phase activities, including schedules, timelines, issue resolution, and invoice review/approval.
Collect, maintain, and manage required documentation related to permits, inspections, shutdowns, and regulatory compliance.
Verify contractor qualifications, training, and adherence to all safety policies and regulations.
Support final project completion by assisting with inspections, coordinating staff training, and ensuring proper closeout documentation.
Ensure construction work causes minimal disruption to daily operations.
Track work requests, update project plans, and monitor milestones and dependencies.
Provide administrative and logistical support for project meetings, training sessions, and contractor onboarding.
Maintain project records, repositories, meeting minutes, issue logs, and related documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

Project Planning & Organization: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, anticipate resource needs, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements while staying within budget.
Construction Process Oversight: Experience coordinating contractors and overseeing installation activities to ensure work aligns with contracts, specifications, and schedules.
Regulatory & Safety Compliance: Strong understanding of construction-related regulations and safety requirements; able to interpret, apply, and communicate complex or ambiguous rules.
Communication & Collaboration: Clear, professional communication with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
Project Coordination & Documentation: Detail-oriented approach to tracking project progress, maintaining accurate records, and supporting project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
