Job Description

The Receiver will accept all authorized material deliveries and associate shipping documents. They will be responsible for conducting thorough receiving inspections to ensure the quality and accuracy of the received materials.

Essential Functions:
-Oversee the schedule of inbound shipments at start of every shift
-Accept and manage all shipping documents and incoming material for authorized inbound shipments
-Provide instruction to support personnel as necessary
-Execute all administrative functions accurately and efficiently
-Ensure adherence to all plant safety protocols
-Ensures the calibration and cleanliness of designated testing and measuring equipment at the end of each shift
-Other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

-High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
-Must have comprehensive proficiency in operating various measuring devices including tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
-Must hold a valid forklift operator license; must be able to operate forklifts within specified capacities and conduct necessary inspections.
-Successfully trained in and proficient at operating overhead cranes, including understanding capacities and performing required inspections.
-Demonstrates adeptness in utilizing a wide array of lift devices such as ID lifters (skids), spreader bars, "C" hooks, sheet lifters, etc.
-Capable of effectively identifying and locating loads for staging purposes.
