Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Manager of Global Strategic Sourcing to be responsible for leading global sourcing strategies across multiple categories supporting manufacturing, redistribution, and corporate operations. This role focuses primarily on direct procurement (non–raw materials) and selected indirect categories, sourcing finished products to be repackaged and sold. The position plays a critical role in expanding Spend Under Management (SUM), improving Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and building scalable sourcing capabilities across a growing, multi‑business organization.
This is a highly autonomous role for a strategic, hands‑on sourcing leader who can operate with limited structure, influence cross‑functional stakeholders, and navigate global supply markets while managing pricing, tariffs, logistics, and supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead global category strategies across assigned direct and indirect spend, aligned to cost, margin, service, quality, and risk
• Source finished products for resale, including supplier qualification, cost analysis, audits, and pricing negotiations
• Manage global pricing dynamics, including tariffs, logistics costs, and cost structure changes
• Identify and execute cost savings and value creation initiatives using a TCO framework
• Expand Spend Under Management by consolidating fragmented and decentralized spend
• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing events (RFI, RFQ, RFP), negotiations, and supplier selection
• Assess and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical exposure and supplier dependency
• Partner cross‑functionally to influence sourcing and pricing decisions
• Operate across multiple ERP systems while improving spend visibility, data quality, and processes
• Build and standardize sourcing processes, governance, templates, and playbooks
• Manage supplier performance and drive continuous improvement
• Support integration of acquisitions into standardized sourcing practices
• Present sourcing strategies and results to leadership
• Mentor team members and support procurement capability development

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
• 5–8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, with global sourcing exposure
• Strong understanding of international logistics, tariffs, and global cost structures
• Ability to leverage analytics, automation, and AI enabled tools to improve spend visibility, identify sourcing opportunities, and support fact-based decision making
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders across regions and functions using data‑driven insights
• Comfortable operating independently in medium‑to‑large, matrixed organizations with limited structure
• International experience and supplier engagement
• Ability to interpret specifications and Bills of Material
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
• ERP, Qlik, Power BI, and SaaS analytics experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• MBA preferred
• Experience sourcing finished goods for resale or redistribution preferred
