A Fortune 250 retail leader is building a unified global B2B platform by replicating and integrating the Mexico and Brazil B2B web/apps with U.S. systems. You’ll be a senior hands‑on engineer that will lead development of C++ Linux services for pricing, promise dates, and fulfillment orchestration; integrate with a React/Next.js storefront and Node.js app layer. All responsibilities and qualifications remain, with C++ performance engineering as the core. JavaScript/TypeScript used for UI, scripting, and integration.

Design & build Linux-native services in modern C++ for high‑throughput, low‑latency workloads such as pricing calculations, inventory/ATP lookups, and delivery‑promise engines.
Own performance: profile CPU, memory, cache behavior, syscalls, and locks; implement asynchronous I/O, efficient concurrency, and non‑blocking designs
Code quality & toolchain: maintain CMake builds, unit/integration tests (GoogleTest/Catch2), sanitizers, and static analysis in CI.
Platform engineering: contribute to containerization, runtime tuning
Global collaboration: partner with teams in the U.S., Mexico, and Brazil to align architecture, APIs, standards, and release cadences across regions.
Ecosystem integration: help consolidate multiple apps/services into a unified, compliant, and observable ecosystem.

Required Skills & Experience
5–8+ years professional experience building production systems with modern C++ on Linux.
Deep knowledge of STL, concurrency (threads, atomics, lock‑free patterns), asynchronous I/O, memory management, and performance tuning with profilers
Proven delivery of networked services with well‑defined APIs, protocols
Familiarity with message buses (Kafka/Pub/Sub)
Security fundamentals: verification, key/secret management,
Scripting proficiency in JavaScript for build/deploy tooling, small CLIs, or test harnesses (no front‑end ownership required).
