Insight Global is seeking an IT Project Coordinator for a leading manufacturing and electrical solutions organization. This individual will play a critical role within the PMO, supporting both project execution and business operations functions. While the role includes traditional project coordination responsibilities such as maintaining schedules, tracking deliverables, managing RAID logs, and supporting project managers, a significant portion of the position focuses on vendor management, procurement coordination, invoicing, purchase orders, budget tracking, project intake, and PMO administration.
The ideal candidate may come from a background such as IT Project Coordinator, PMO Coordinator, Project Administrator, Junior Project Manager, Business Analyst, or Help Desk/IT Operations Coordinator with project exposure. This person should be highly organized, solution-driven, comfortable working across multiple priorities, and capable of communicating with both technical and business stakeholders. Experience presenting, facilitating training, or leading discussions is a plus. Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field
• 5+ years of Project Coordination, Project Administration, PMO Coordination, or related experience
• Experience supporting IT projects and multiple concurrent initiatives
• Strong organizational, administrative, and multitasking skills
• Experience coordinating meetings, tracking action items, and maintaining project documentation
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with vendors and cross-functional stakeholders
• Experience with invoicing, purchase orders, budget tracking, or financial/project administration
• Ability to maintain RAID logs, status reports, meeting minutes, and project schedules
• Solution-oriented mindset with strong follow-through and attention to detail
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Hands-on IT Project Management experience
• PMO (Project Management Office) experience
• Manufacturing, industrial, or operations environment experience
• Formal Project Management training, PMP, CAPM, or equivalent coursework
• Experience with project intake, portfolio management, or governance processes
• Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
• Experience supporting issue management and risk management processes
• Experience reviewing or coordinating SOWs, NDAs, vendor contracts, quotes, and proposals
• Experience delivering training, facilitating meetings, or presenting to stakeholders
• Desire to grow into a Project Manager role
