Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Senior NDT Quality Inspector to support inspection and testing activities within a modern manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring materials, components, and finished products meet required specifications for quality, strength, cleanliness, and performance. The ideal candidate brings strong nondestructive testing expertise, attention to detail, and experience working within regulated quality environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform independent inspections using dimensional measurement and nondestructive testing methods
- Verify that materials, parts, and products comply with established quality, strength, cleanliness, and endurance standards
- Conduct material receiving inspections and pre-shipment/packaging inspections
- Prepare accurate and compliant inspection documentation and reports, including submissions to government entities
- Ensure all inspection activities are completed safely and in accordance with quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to improve productivity and efficiency
- Assist with developing inspection requirements based on engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Maintain a high level of focus, organization, and attention to detail in all tasks
The salary range for this position is between $72,000 and $85,000 per year based on experience.

Required Skills & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- NDT Level II certification (VT, PT, MT, UT)
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including drawings, procedures, quality manuals, and safety instructions
- Proficiency with dimensional measurement tools such as micrometers, gauges, calipers, surface comparators, and CMMs
- Experience performing independent inspections in a manufacturing or production environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with NAVSEA metrology requirements
- Experience supporting Navy Nuclear Propulsion or similar regulated programs
- Background in CMM programming
- Knowledge of steam plant cleanliness controls and material control standards
- Experience working within quality systems compliant with Navy, ISO 9001, NQA 1, or 10 CFR 50
- Machining experience, including manual and CNC operations
- Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments
