Job Description
The Structural Analysis Engineer – Interior Stress leads structural analysis and certification activities for Boeing aircraft interior products. This role performs advanced stress analysis using classical hand calculations, finite element analysis, and dynamic simulation methods to ensure products meet design, performance, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities include developing and validating structural requirements, reviewing supplier engineering documentation, and providing technical oversight of drawings, analyses, test plans, procedures, and certification reports. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to define load cases, interfaces, and structural environments while supporting product development throughout the lifecycle.
The position also leads test planning, execution support, and results analysis to verify compliance with customer and certification requirements. Additional duties include supporting in-service investigations, identifying design improvements, and developing processes that improve engineering efficiency and quality.
This individual serves as a technical leader and mentor, supporting team development within a growing organization. The role requires close collaboration with domestic and international suppliers.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
• 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of experience performing stress analysis on interiors or related structures
• Prior experience with aircraft
