Job Description

Join Boeing's Global Real Estate & Facilities team to support the growing Charleston site. The Facilities Planner will evaluate facility needs, support strategic space planning initiatives, and develop recommendations that align facilities with business objectives. This role requires a highly analytical, collaborative individual who can engage directly with business leaders, assess facility requirements, develop planning proposals, and support implementation efforts.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong problem-solving capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities while driving projects forward.

Solicit headcount projections and business plans to forecast future facility requirements.
Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and status reporting.
Establish project milestones and identify opportunities, risks, and issues.
Develop facility planning proposals and recommendations for stakeholders.
Facilitate management reviews and approvals of implementation plans.
Maintain occupancy and space allocation tracking systems.
Compile and analyze data supporting business initiatives and facility planning efforts.
Perform site studies, scenario planning, and strategic facility analyses.
Evaluate site capabilities, manufacturing processes, and future technology requirements.
Develop short-range facilities and space plans.
Work directly with stakeholders to create solutions that maximize value for both customers and Boeing.
Conduct facility walkthroughs and assess existing space utilization.
Troubleshoot site-related issues and reconcile competing business priorities.
Present findings, recommendations, and planning strategies to customers and leadership teams.

Key Deliverables:
Conduct on-site facility assessments across the Charleston campus.
Evaluate current and future space requirements and develop recommendations.
Create studies and proposals for office space utilization and configurations.
Develop facility plans aligned to business growth objectives.
Facilitate stakeholder discussions and secure approvals for implementation plans.
Analyze site capabilities, business scenarios, and utilization strategies.
Maintain occupancy and space allocation tracking systems.
Prepare presentations and deliver recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
Support multiple concurrent projects, balancing competing priorities and deadlines.

Bachelor's Degree
3+ years of professional work experience
3+ years of Microsoft PowerPoint experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience managing multiple priorities and timelines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills

Experience with real estate project management

Experience developing business cases, proposals, or planning studies
