Insight Global is seeking a Quality Data Scientist in Greenville, SC supporting a large Automotive Manufacturing Client! This role is hybrid sitting 3 days in office with the Data Science Team with 5 other Data Scientist and the Manager. It is a 6-month contract, that will be up for extension or hire at the end of the year. This team is focused on building AI and data-driven solutions to improve product performance, operational efficiency, and customer outcomes. The role is 70% building and creating AI Agents based on use cases and 30% deployment and testing in the business.

Required Skills & Experience
•5+ years’ experience in data science
• 1+ year AI and Machine Learning
•Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics)
•Proficiency in Python, PySpark, Pandas, NumPy.
•Strong proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Scikit-Learn, Streamlit and generative AI (LLMs, Chatbots)
•Strong problem-solving skills, ability to build production-grade AI components, and practical experience with both proprietary and open-source models
•Work within a data scientist network to improve processes, tools, and people development
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
•Experience with OpenAI APIs and open-source LLMs (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, Gemini), knowledge of NLP models, and cloud platform deployment (Azure preferred)
