Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong experience in FX systems and capital markets technology. This role sits within a high-performing engineering team focused on building and supporting low-latency trading systems across FX pricing, execution, and post-trade workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of hands-on Java development in high-performance or real-time systems
• Strong experience with multithreading, concurrency, and low-latency application design
• Proven experience building microservices (Spring Boot / Spring Framework)
• Solid experience within FX or capital markets (Spot, Forwards, NDFs, Options, or Swaps)
• Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle (order → execution → settlement)
• Hands-on experience with FIX protocol (QuickFIX/J or similar)
• Experience with messaging platforms such as Kafka, Solace, or MQ
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
• Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with market data integrations (Bloomberg, Refinitiv)
• Exposure to pricing, risk (Greeks), or real-time P&L
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, Splunk, Prometheus)
• Python for scripting or data analysis
• Experience in other asset classes (Rates, Credit, Equities) or regulatory frameworks
