Insight Global is seeking a Business Development Analyst to join one of our federal healthcare industry clients and sit fully remote, working EST hours. This person will support the company’s federal and state arm’s growth strategy by conducting advanced market intelligence across procurement platforms, budget documents, legislative activity, and agency priorities. This role evaluates contract vehicles, access pathways, incumbency, and competitive dynamics to identify whitespace opportunities and inform investment and pursuit decisions. The analyst is responsible for building and maintaining a high quality, disciplined opportunity pipeline, ensuring CRM data integrity, and providing accurate pipeline metrics, forecasting, and executive reporting. In support of capture and pursuit efforts, the role delivers data driven qualification assessments, competitive analysis, and research on RFIs, RFPs, SOWs, and historical procurements. They will collaborate closely with capture managers, proposal teams, and leadership to shape opportunities early and contribute to informed go/no go decisions. Additionally, the position provides business development operations support through executive briefings, meeting coordination, conference preparation, and ongoing monitoring of policy, regulatory, and acquisition trends impacting company target markets.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience in Federal (government OR State) business development, capture support, proposal support, or government market intelligence
• Strong working knowledge of the federal acquisition lifecycle and procurement processes
• Demonstrated expertise using federal market research tools and CRM platforms (SAM.gov, GovWin, FPDS, USAspending etc.)
• Proven ability to generate insights and strategic recommendations using analytical skills with high attention to data quality and accuracy
• Experience supporting pipeline reporting tied to revenue forecasting and investment decisions
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams and manage multiple complex/fast paced priorities
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Exposure to Power BI for reporting
