Job Description

Develop, enhance, and support enterprise Warehouse Management System (WMS) applications, integrations, and warehouse automation solutions using Java and modern application frameworks. Build scalable applications, REST APIs, microservices, and system integrations across WMS, ERP, OMS, and third-party platforms to enable efficient supply chain operations. Design and implement reliable, high-performance solutions that improve inventory visibility, order fulfillment, and warehouse execution. Leverage Azure cloud technologies, Kubernetes, and data integration platforms to modernize applications, optimize system performance, and deliver business value. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex issues, implement enhancements, and drive continuous improvement of mission-critical warehouse and distribution systems.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and support Java-based Warehouse Management System (WMS) applications and warehouse automation solutions.
Develop scalable and maintainable applications using Java, Spring Framework (Spring MVC/Spring Boot), REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Operations teams to analyze requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Develop, maintain, and support integrations between WMS, ERP, OMS, transportation systems, warehouse automation equipment, and external partner applications.
Build and support real-time and batch interfaces using REST APIs, Web Services, IBM MQ, and messaging technologies.
Design and implement solutions that improve inventory accuracy, warehouse execution, order processing, and fulfillment performance.
Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, estimation, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, integration, and performance issues across WMS environments.
Develop and optimize Azure-based data integrations and analytics solutions using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and cloud-native technologies.
Support modernization initiatives by enhancing legacy applications and migrating components to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container-based platforms.
Analyze application performance and system metrics to identify opportunities for optimization, scalability, and reliability improvements.
Perform code reviews and contribute to development standards, best practices, and CI/CD processes.
Create and maintain technical documentation, support guides, and deployment procedures.
Provide technical mentoring and knowledge sharing to team members while collaborating with cross-functional development teams.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of hands-on Java development experience building enterprise applications using Java, Spring Framework (Spring MVC/Spring Boot), REST APIs, SQL Server, Web Services, and Git/GitHub.
3+ years of Warehouse Management System (WMS) development experience, including integrations, inventory management, order fulfillment, warehouse automation, and supply chain processes.
Strong experience developing distributed applications, microservices, API integrations, and high-volume transaction processing systems.
Experience with WebSphere, IBM MQ, Drools, and enterprise integration technologies.
Hands-on experience integrating WMS with ERP, OMS, transportation, and third-party systems.
Working knowledge of Azure cloud technologies including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and containerization.
Experience supporting modernization and migration of legacy applications to cloud-based platforms.
Strong background in application design, development, performance tuning, debugging, and production support.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments..

Experience supporting distribution center, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations is preferred.
