Role Summary
The Internationalization & Compliance Engineer will support the implementation, testing, and validation of globalization capabilities across our client's enterprise platforms. The role will focus on ensuring applications comply with Internationalization standards and country-specific legal, tax, and financial requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Development
Implement Internationalization and Localization requirements across web applications, APIs, and services.
Support externalization of application content and language resources.
Configure locale-specific settings and regional business rules.
Develop and maintain configuration-driven compliance functionality.
Compliance & Regional Readiness
Implement and validate:
Country-specific tax configurations
Currency handling and formatting
Regional date and time standards
Legal and financial localization requirements
Country-specific business validations
Work with Product, QA, and Business teams to validate regulatory requirements.
Oracle & Enterprise Platform Support
Support integrations between digital platforms and Oracle ERP systems.
Validate consistency of financial and compliance-related information across systems.
Assist in testing Oracle-integrated business processes.
Testing & Quality
Execute I18N, compliance, and localization test scenarios.
Support SIT and UAT cycles.
Resolve defects related to:
Formatting
Localization
Compliance rules
Financial calculations
Tax validations

Required Skills & Experience
6+ years of enterprise application development, with direct experience building or enhancing ERP modules/functions
Exposure to large-scale ERP transformations or system modernization initiatives
Strong backend/frontend development skills: Java, .NET, Node.js, React, or Angular
Experience developing and integrating REST APIs, JSON-based services
Hands-on experience working within ERP ecosystems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar)
Experience supporting global deployments across EMEA/APAC (currency, tax, localization, compliance)
Strong debugging, defect resolution, and SDLC delivery within enterprise environments
Solid understanding of Unicode / UTF-8 and localization-ready application design
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with OMS, WMS, or Supply Chain / Distribution platforms
Exposure to large-scale ERP transformations or system modernization initiatives
Knowledge of accessibility (a11y) and global UX considerations
Experience in high-volume transactional systems (order, inventory, finance, pricing)
