Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer (Kubernetes). In this role you will perform Design, development and operational tasks to maintain Kubernetes environments. You will work with developers, architects, and app teams, facilitating operations, development, and testing functions by continuously automating and streamlining the system integration and deployment processes. Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end Kubernetes lifecycle management, including design, deployment, scaling, and support of production-grade, highly available (HADR) clusters.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker/Kubernetes and ecosystem tools (Helm, Istio, Prometheus, Grafana), ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Drive automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) initiatives using scripting and tools like Terraform to streamline deployments and operations.
• Own Kubernetes security remediation, including vulnerability management and patching.
• Support cloud application build, deployment, and release processes while adhering to ITIL practices (incident, change, problem, and release management).
• Operate effectively in secure, high-availability environments, troubleshooting complex issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical leadership through documentation, presentations, and mentoring team members on best practices and system processes.

Required Skills & Experience

· Bachelor's Degree and 7+ Years Experience in Cloud Engineering/Cloud Administration
· Strong hand-on working experience designing, configuring, and deploying applications in Kubernetes and its related platforms (AKS, GKE, OKE, KSPM)
· Experience in any one major cloud (Azure preferred)
· Knowledge of designing and building fully automated DevOps CI/CD pipelines
· Experience in IaC concepts and implementation with Terraform

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Certifications like Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer, DevOps Engineer Expert, etc.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure technologies and services such as Compute, Storage, Databases, API Management, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, etc.
• Experience writing automation scripts
