Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a remote Docketing Analyst to join the team of an AM 100 law firm. The Docketing Analyst is responsible for providing comprehensive litigation and non-litigation calendaring services to the firm, including calendaring for all assigned matters, ensuring adherence to calendaring procedures and processes for these matters, and facilitating compliance with the firm’s calendaring policies and protocols to minimize the risk of missed deadlines.

This role has a remote working arrangement. Potential candidates must reside within one of the 10 states in which we have a physical office. In this role, you will report to the Docketing Manager.

Essential Functions

Independently calendar law firm litigation and non-litigation matters.
Create new records, dockets, and events in the docketing database.
Create reminders for events.
Search for and retrieve filing information from various courts for docketing purposes.
Ensure adherence to the firm’s calendaring procedures and processes.
Implement and maintain quality control measures for all assigned calendared events.
Manage and maintain an efficient workload.
Research and respond to attorney and staff inquiries relating to deadlines, calendaring requests and other issues.
Identify and appropriately escalate any potential issues to the Docketing Supervisor.
Prepare calendar reports as requested by attorneys and staff.
Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
Work additional hours as needed to fulfill job requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

-3+ years of experience in LITIGATION docketing (the more experience the better, must be able to hit the ground running)
-must sit in: CA, CT, DE, FL, IL, MA, MD, MN, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TX, VA, or Washington DC

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Associate degree preferred.
Experience with calendaring software preferred; working knowledge of Milana is a plus.
Experience with iManage or other document management/document retention software used by major law firms, helpful.
