Job Description
A Fortune 500 client is looking for an Point-of-Sale Deployment Analyst to support large-scale POS systems and hardware deployments for the companies clients. This will involve getting familiarized with the platform, redeploying accounts within the system, aligning and mapping the data between the two systems, setting up barcodes, implementing and designing menu boards/menu pages, etc. and then providing continuous improvement/optimization. Will be facilitating Point-of-Sale quality assurance efforts, confirming that POS products are configured and tailored to meet the diverse needs of the business. Will be working with a variety of users (field users, clients, execs, etc.) and ensuring satisfaction from pre to post go-live.
What You’ll Do:
Lead POS system deployments - Provide technical support for POS systems, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and staff training through go‑live
Act as the technical point of contact for third‑party vendors/support teams during deployments
Guide customers through transitions to new POS platforms, including data management, integration, and platform optimization.
Ensure menu, item, pricing, and transaction data flow accurately across systems
Troubleshoot issues before and after launch to support stable production operations
Partner with IT, operations, and product teams to deliver scalable, repeatable solutions

Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience in POS system deployments (ideally experience integrating food & beverage POS systems, kiosks, or mobile ordering platforms)
Experience with a variety of Point-of-Sale solutions, both software and hardware (ideally Oracle Micros)
Experience configuring and troubleshooting POS software (i.e. deploying accounts, menu pages, data alignment/mapping, barcodes, etc)
Experience providing over-the-phone support to customer sites and the field (i.e. monitoring onsite installation, device set up, etc)
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software/applications, to then effectively handle and resolve a variety of incidents
Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
