Day-to-Day:
• Drive new business with telecom carriers from prospecting through close
• Leverage existing relationships to open doors with 911 compliance decision-makers
• Execute go-to-market strategy targeting NG911 adoption
• Meet with clients (virtually and onsite) and attend industry events/conferences
• Build and manage a sales pipeline, tracking activity in CRM
• Collaborate with leadership on sales strategy, RFP responses, and deal execution
• Stay informed on industry trends, compliance requirements, and market opportunities
Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a LIS Development Director for a top technology and public safety solutions client. This candidate will drive new business within the telecommunications space, focused on selling a leading SaaS solution that enables carriers to meet NG911 compliance requirements. This is a highly relationship-driven role where success comes from leveraging existing industry connections and building new ones with key decision-makers. The ideal candidate is a strong closer who can also understand technical solutions, with leadership ready to help develop their sales approach. Required Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of experience in telecommunications / carrier services / business development
• Existing relationships within wireline, rural broadband, or local telecom providers
• Experience selling into or working with 911 / NG911 compliance stakeholders
• Ability to close deals and manage full sales cycle
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and industry events
• Knowledge of FCC regulations / NG911 or E911 compliance
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Background in public safety telecommunications
• Experience selling to rural broadband providers, CLECs, or ILECs
• MBA or advanced business degree
