Job Description
One of Insight Global's government clients is looking for a Senior Front Developer to join their growing team! This resource will be responsible for writing and maintaining source code, creating, and maintaining software applications and applying frameworks involved in a software release. Duties include computer programming, documenting, managing configuration, testing, and bug fixing involved in creating and maintaining applications and frameworks involved in a software release life cycle and resulting in a software product. Candidates must be able to go onsite in Mechanicsburg, PA 2-3 days a week!
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience in front end development
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and other front-end languages
- Experience with Kendo UI for React
- Experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWA)
- Familiar with modern browser APIs (Permission, Promise, Offline Storage, Notifications, etc)
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Experience developing user-facing features using React.js
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc.)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience conducting code reviews and training more junior developers
- Familiarity with RESTful web services
- Experience with GIT, SASS, and UI design
