Job Description

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will lead a structured discovery and requirements definition effort to support the replacement of a legacy line‑of‑business system. This role is responsible for facilitating stakeholder engagement, documenting business processes, defining measurable outcomes, and producing RFP‑ready requirements that enable informed vendor selection and a successful system replacement.
The BSA serves as the primary bridge between business users, leadership, and technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
• Proven experience leading requirements gathering and business process analysis
• Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
• Experience developing user stories, functional and technical requirements
• Exceptional written documentation and verbal communication skills
• Experience supporting system replacement or modernization initiatives

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience in public sector, government, or regulated environments
• Experience supporting RFP or vendor selection preparation
• Familiarity with SDLC and iterative delivery approaches
• Experience working with security, compliance, or data sensitive systems
