Job Description
Seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to support and lead large-scale overhead transmission and EPC power delivery projects. This role serves as a technical and client-facing lead, driving overhead transmission line design from routing through construction while helping expand the companies transmission footprint across the Pacific Northwest.
Key responsibilities include
• Act as responsible engineer and technical client point of contact for power delivery projects
• Lead overhead transmission line design efforts from routing through construction support
• Serve as Lead Engineer on large, multidisciplinary EPC projects
• Prepare, review, and P.E. seal engineering calculations and construction documents
• Perform and oversee:
• Structure analysis
• Foundation and pier design
• Development of design criteria and specifications
• Increase volume of overhead line work with existing clients
• Support business development and client expansion efforts in the Northwest
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Participate in site visits and construction support as needed
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and provide QA/QC
• Mentor and develop junior engineers

Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years of progressive transmission line / civil-structural engineering experience
• Strong overhead transmission experience
• Civil engineering background with emphasis on:
• Pier foundations (strong preference)
• Experience applicable to both overhead and subsurface work
• Experience acting as a lead or client-facing engineer
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
• Proficiency with:
• PLS-CADD
• PLS-POLE
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with PLS-TOWER
• Experience supporting large EPC transmission programs
