Job Description
We’re looking for a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) to join a growing behavioral health team supporting patients in the Portland metro area. What You’ll Do
• Provide direct support to patients with mental health needs
• Conduct observations and document patient progress
• Assist with daily activities and therapeutic programming
• Facilitate group sessions and educational workshops
• Support crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed
• Collaborate with clinical teams on care plans
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with care standards
Compensation: $30-35/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
What We’re Looking For
• Active QMHA Certification (MHACBO – Oregon)
• Current CPR & First Aid Certification
• CPI certification preferred
• Experience in mental health or healthcare settings
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with EHR systems is a plus
Preferred Skills:
• Previous experience in mental health or healthcare setting.
• Strong foundation in psychotherapy and counseling techniques.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.
• Experience with group therapy facilitation.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and treatment modalities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other training software/tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams at contracted facilities and community partners to optimize patient outcomes.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Vaccinations and Screenings:
• Tuberculosis (TB) screening with documented results, completed within the last (12) months.
• Up to date COVID-19 vaccination or provide an exemption as needed.
