Job Description

Role Overview
The UAT Manager ensures the quality and reliability of technology products delivered across applications, middleware, and infrastructure. This role leads the design, development, and execution of comprehensive test strategies throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), driving automation, innovation, and continuous improvement. The manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless customer experiences while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement best-in-class testing strategies for complex solutions across multiple platforms.
• Design, execute, and maintain test plans for infrastructure, middleware, data, and applications in various environments.
• Lead automation initiatives using Selenium Java/Cucumber frameworks and CI/CD pipelines and REST Assured
• Drive adoption of AI-driven automation strategies and tools within SDLC.
• Review business requirements and design specifications for testability; provide input on planning and execution.
• Monitor and report on quality metrics, defects, and test results; maintain historical analysis and defect repository.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architecture teams, and engineering groups to ensure alignment and quality delivery.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of excellence, diversity, and inclusion.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reconciliation for UAT initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and enterprise standards.
• Act as a subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:
• 6-10 years of banking experience
• 5+ years in UAT management roles
• Expertise in automation frameworks (Selenium and Restassured - hands on coding/scriprting/automating) and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and documentation standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage ambiguity, and influence stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile/Waterfall delivery and tools like ALM/JIRA.
• Background in large enterprise environments and highly regulated industries.
Plusses:
Familiarity with AI concepts (GenAI, RAG, prompt engineering) and AI-powered tools in SDLC
Strong experince within the Payments domain (wires, eft, ach, swift, ISO, etc)
Mentoring/leadership expeirence with a team under them
