Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a third party security risk business analyst for a large financial services company in Toronto. You will be gathering data from from multiple internal teams, including:
Business Continuity, Internal Audit, TPGO / third‑party data providers. You will also standardize processes with third party vendors/suppliers on what information needs to be gathered. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, business units, and external partners to gather and validate data for regulatory reporting on third-party suppliers.
Consolidate, clean, and analyze large datasets using Excel and other tools to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Compare and reconcile supplier data across multiple sources and reporting periods, identifying discrepancies and ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
Review supplier contracts to extract and assess critical risk-related parameters, such as contract terms, service levels, financial viability, and compliance obligations.
Prepare and submit regulatory reports within established deadlines, ensuring all required information is included and meets regulatory expectations.
Support audits and regulatory examinations by providing relevant documentation and responding to queries related to third-party risk reporting.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to third-party risk and supplier oversight.
Continuously improve reporting processes and tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Collaborate with risk management, procurement, legal, and compliance teams to address supplier risk issues and support risk mitigation efforts.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data.

Required Skills & Experience

- 4+ years of experience as a TPRM Business Analyst within a large enterprise
- Regulatory Reporting Project experience with frameworks such as DORA, OSFI, CDIC, GDPR
- Ability to interpret and respond to common regulatory data requests and expectations
- Experience in third‑party security risk management within a large enterprise
- Ability to assess third‑party risk data and supplier records with high accuracy
- Data Gathering & Ownership
Experience with data collection and reporting
- Comfortable working in environments without a single system of record, relying on manual data sources and challenging if data appears missing or inaccurate
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and large data sets
Experience gathering information and inputting it into standardized Excel templates
Prior experience creating data‑gathering templates based on common regulatory asks
-Process & Quality Control
Strong attention to detail, particularly with supplier records and data intake
-Ability to challenge teams or vendors when information is incomplete, late, or inaccurate
Experience reviewing and validating data with regional teams, registers, and data‑gathering files
- Able to go on-site downtown Toronto 2x per week
