JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is looking to hire a Senior Developer/ Full Stack Dev Lead to join their Digital team. This individual will serve as a technical leader for the Web Application team and play a critical role in the development, modernization, and support of customer-facing digital platforms.
The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative Full Stack Development Lead who combines strong hands-on development experience with the ability to mentor team members, establish engineering standards, and drive best practices across the development lifecycle. This role requires a blend of technical leadership, architecture involvement, and active coding responsibilities.
Day to Day / Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and enhancement of customer-facing web applications.
Build scalable and maintainable solutions using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
Develop and support backend integrations using .NET/C#.
Create responsive, enterprise-grade user experiences utilizing React and TypeScript.
Partner closely with Product Managers, Architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
Define and implement development standards, coding best practices, and technical governance processes.
Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to developers across the team.
Contribute to architecture discussions and support long-term platform modernization initiatives.
Design and implement solutions within AWS cloud environments.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to development processes, quality, and delivery.

Required Skills & Experience
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 15+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience developing modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Extensive experience building backend services and integrations using .NET / C#.
- Experience working with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Proven experience leading development teams and mentoring engineers.
- Experience establishing coding standards, development processes, and engineering best practices.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working within Agile development environments.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Experience within financial services or other highly regulated environments
• Exposure to modern front-end frameworks such as React, Next.js, Angular, or related digital technologies
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization tools such as Docker/Kubernetes, and DevOps best practices
• Experience supporting or influencing mobile application development
