Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Salesforce Data Cloud Enablement Consultant to join a leading banking customer downtown Toronto. This is a hybrid role and requires 2x/week on site downtown Toronto.
The MarTech team is standing up and operationalizing Salesforce Data Cloud as the system of record for marketing segmentation and activation, moving away from legacy, SFMC-centric data patterns.
This role is for a hands-on Salesforce Data Cloud specialist who can design, configure, and operationalize Data Cloud at scale — including data onboarding, identity resolution, calculated insights, and automated activation into Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
This is not an SFMC-only role. Candidates whose experience is primarily SQL, Data Extensions, or SFMC Journeys without meaningful Data Cloud build experience will not be considered.
Salesforce Data Cloud Enablement (Core Focus)
• Configure Salesforce Data Cloud datasets, transformations, metadata, and retention rules
• Design and implement identity resolution and unification rules (deterministic and fuzzy matching)
• Build and QA Calculated Insights to support segmentation and eligibility logic
• Create reusable, governed Data Cloud segments ready for activation
Activation to Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Configure and support Data Cloud → SFMC activation targets
• Design journey-ready Data Extension schemas sourced from Data Cloud
• Implement basic monitoring, reconciliation, and validation of activated audiences
• Partner with marketing execution teams to ensure segments are usable in Journeys
Architecture, Governance & BAU
• Work within established enterprise architecture, security, and data governance standards
• Contribute to lineage, metadata, naming, and PII control alignment
• Produce practical runbooks and documentation to support BAU operations and handover

Required Skills & Experience
• Hands-on Salesforce Data Cloud experience (datasets, identity resolution, calculated insights, segmentation)
• Experience activating Data Cloud audiences into Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Strong understanding of customer data modeling and identity concepts
• Comfortable operating in governed, enterprise environments
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with cloud data sources (AWS, Redshift, Snowflake)
• Experience supporting enterprise architecture or data governance processes
• Familiarity with consent, PII handling, and audit requirements
